MICRO RACE PRO V2 – PERFORMANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE
The Micro Race Pro V2 is based on a long-established concept and has been specifically further developed in key areas. Optimizations to the steering, drawbar, seat system and footrests ensure even more precise handling, more adjustment options and an overall sportier riding experience.
The Micro Race Pro V2 combines high performance with individual adjustability and is aimed at ambitious hobby drivers as well as regatta participants and experienced pilots who appreciate modern technology, direct control and maximum driving dynamics.
The Micro Race Pro V2 is delivered ready to sail, including a “Competition” sail in your chosen size. You can also choose between two wheel options.
We have redesigned the steering system – it now provides significantly more precise handling and a more direct driving feel thanks to a ball joint.
Thanks to three different positions on the drawbar for the steering linkage, the glider can be even better adapted to the size of the pilots and their flying styles using control rods of varying lengths. Stepless fine-tuning of the drawbar is, of course, still possible to find the perfect position.
The adjustable, oval mast base also allows for fine adjustment of the mast rake. This can be continuously adjusted to the prevailing conditions and personal preferences using two screws.
new footrest system with height-adjustable heel rest
Newly developed footrests with a wide, ribbed foot pad offer the pilot comfort while steering and maximum control in all maneuvers. The wide, continuously height-adjustable heel rest ensures a relaxed foot position and optimal grip on the footrests. and protects against the foot slipping. The footrests can be individually adjusted in terms of tilt angle and optimally adapted to the personal preferences of the pilot.
Rear axle & frame construction
The frame of the Micro Race Pro V2 is made of high-quality stainless steel to ensure maximum stability and durability. The reinforced, two-part rear axle is connected to the drawbar mount via three screws and locknuts, thus guaranteeing a secure, torsionally rigid fixation.
Each axle side is infinitely adjustable in width from 80 to 100 cm, allowing for individual adaptation to a wide variety of conditions. Rotating the axle also allows for stepless adjustment of the tire camber – crucial for precise handling with different tire types.
Thanks to the quick assembly and disassembly, the rear axles are easy to transport and store in a space-saving manner, making assembly, storage and transport uncomplicated.
Result: A robust, flexible axle system that is precise, easy to handle, and ideal for mobile use.
Seat & seat bar: 2 options to choose from
The Micro Race Pro V2 offers you a choice of two seating systems. Both versions are softly padded and water-repellent thanks to integrated drainage. This ensures a high level of seating comfort without pressure points, even on longer journeys.
Option 1: the wide and particularly flat performance seat “Competition “. Through active weight shifting, this system offers optimal control and maximum driving dynamics.
Option 2: the popular “all-round” seating system of the ” Micro Race Pro “. This system also offers an agile seating position without reaching the more extreme dimensions of the Competition seat. A generously sized back pocket offers space for accessories and personal items – safely stowed and always within easy reach.
For those who desire additional comfort, our optional neck support provides extra support in the upper back/neck area.
sail
The Micro Race Pro V2 comes with a sail. You can freely choose the sail size: 3.6 m², 4.8 m², 5.5 m² or 7.0 m² – this, combined with the choice of tires, also determines the price of the sail cart. The car is delivered as standard with sails from the Competition model range .
Clicking the button below will take you to an overview of all available sails , allowing you to select additional sizes if needed. Besides the Competition sails, sails from the Landyachting range are also compatible and can be ordered separately. The two smaller sizes, 1.5m² and 2.1m², are particularly popular for use in strong winds or by lighter sailors.
The Micro Race Pro V2 comes standard with 3 wheelbarrow tires, which allow participation in regattas of the 5.6 MINI class .
Optionally, a set of three Big Foot Light tires including a matching BIG fork is available: These tires are larger and wider, their air pressure is adjustable, and they offer advantages on soft sand. They also slightly raise the seating position and provide smoother shock absorption. However, standard tires remain the faster choice on hard surfaces.
